What you are working with

This is a bright white monomeric PVC vinyl with a non-reflective matt finish, a permanent adhesive and a thick paper release liner. The matt surface gives strong colour density without glare, so graphics stay readable under exhibition lighting, shop spotlights or daylight through a window.

The microporous coating is scratch resistant and dries the moment ink hits it. That means high ink coverage without smudging, and prints you can handle, trim and apply straight off the printer.

Compatible with dye and pigment inks

The vinyl runs through any wide format inkjet printer using dye or pigment inks, including HP, Canon and Epson machines.

With pigment inks, prints are water resistant, which is what makes this media suitable for outdoor banners and external graphics as well as indoor display. One practical note: the coating is water resistant with Photo Black ink rather than Matt Black. If your printer carries both, select a photo paper setting so it uses the right one.

A strong base for die-cut stickers

This vinyl has become a favourite for die-cut sticker production, and for good reason. The permanent adhesive holds firm once applied, and the thick paper liner gives clean, stable cutting and easy weeding. The 120 micron face film has enough body to peel and position without stretching or tearing.

The same qualities carry over to labels, advertising graphics and exhibition panels. Anywhere you need a printed graphic to stick once and stay put, indoors or out, this media does the job.

Laminate it for longer life outdoors

For work that needs to survive handling or extended time outside, the vinyl can be laminated with a cold, pressure sensitive laminate. That adds scratch protection and extends outdoor durability to around 12 months. You can browse our range of pressure sensitive laminates to pair with it.

The self-adhesive backing also makes mounting simple. Apply prints directly to Foamex PVC board for outdoor signage or foam board for indoor display, with no spray adhesive involved.
