Optically Clear Inkjet Film 110mu 42" 1067mm x 30m Roll

Clear film looks like a simple product until you try to paint something heavy on it. Most transparent media carries a thin coating that only holds light ink coverage. Push a solid block of colour or a dense graphic through it and the ink pools, sits wet on the surface, or dries with a patchy finish. The reason for this is that polyester is not absorbent so everything depends on how much the coating can hold and how quickly it fixes it in place.

The coating on this film is built for exactly that. It takes dense coverage without flooding, which means solid colours, deep blacks and details graphics print cleanly rather than beading or smearing across the surface. The base itself stays optically clear, so nothing you print sits behind a haze. Where a graphic needs to read against glass, a product, or another printed layer, that clarity is the whole point of using a film in the first place.

A lot of wasted time at the printer is saved by the removable white strips along the sides of the film. The sensors pick up the strips, the roll loads and tracks the way it should, and once the job is printed the strips peel away and leave a clean transparent sheet.

This film is perfect for overlays where printed information needs to sit over a drawing, plan or another print, window displays and retail graphics that need to read from both sides of the glass, packaging prototypes and finished packaging elements, labels, particularly where a no-label look is wanted on a clear container.
